The 2016 Survivor Series will be historic as it is the 30th annual edition of the WWE pay-per-view event. Survivorr Series will see WWE superstars from Raw and SmackDown Live compete in a series of matches.

Brock Lesnar vs Goldberg
WWE superstar Goldberg will make his return to the ring after a huge gap of 12 years as he takes on 'The Beast' Brock Lesnar in a high profile match that is termed as fantasy warfare. Lesnar will have his manager Paul Heyman in his corner. The two earlier squared off at WrestleMania XX in 2004 in a match with Stone Cold Steve Austin as the special guest referee which saw Goldberg emerge victorious.
Team Raw vs Team SmackDown Live
WWE's two signature flagship brands - Raw and SmackDown - will have their respective wrestlers taking on each other in a five-on-five traditional Survivor Series elimination match. Team Raw's team consists of WWE Universal champion Kevin Owens, Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, Chris Jericho and Braun Strowman. Team SmackDown will be headlined by the WWE World champion AJ Styles, Dean Ambrose, Randy Orton, Bray Wyatt and the commissioner Shane McMahon with James Ellsworth as their mascot.
Women's elimination match
The female wrestlers too will compete in a similar Survivor Series elimination match with respective wrestlers from Raw and SmackDown Live facing each other. Team Raw consists of Charlotte, Sasha Banks, Bayley, Nia Jax and Alicia Fox and will take on SmackDown's team of Nikki Bella, Becky Lynch, Alexa Bliss, Carmella, and Naomi with Natalya as their mentor.
Tag team elimination match
Tag teams from both brands will compete in a 10-on-10 tag team elimination match. Team Raw's tag team will be The New Day (Big E, Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods), Sheamus and Cesaro, Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson, Enzo Amore and Big Cass, and The Shining Stars (Primo and Epico) and will face SmackDown's (Heath Slater and Rhyno, The Hype Bros (Zack Ryder and Mojo Rawley), American Alpha (Jason Jordan and Chad Gable), The Usos (Jimmy Uso and Jey Uso), and Breezango (Tyler Breeze and Fandango).
WWE Cruiserweight title match
The Cruiserweight champion from Raw The Brian Kendrick will defend his title in a match against SmackDown's Kalisto. They will face each other for the first time.
Intercontinental title match
Raw wrestler The Miz will defend his title against Sami Zayn from SmackDown. Miz earlier defeated Dolph Ziggler in a title match at Raw to become the new champion heading into Survivor Series.
The 2016 Survivor Series event is touted to be one of the most high profile events this year and fans will hope that it lives upto expectations.
