New Delhi: London Olympics silver medal-winning wrestler Sushil Kumar was yesterday named as Delhi's new brand ambassador by Lt Governor Najeeb Jung.

At an event here yesterday the two-time Olympics medal-winning grappler was first felicitated by Railway Minister Sadananda Gowda and other dignitaries for his recent Glasgow Commonwealth Games gold medal, after which the Lt Governor Jung made the announcement.

Sushil Kumar won bronze at the 2008 Beijing Olympics and followed it up with a silver in London four years later.
