Sussanne (Hrithik) Roshan is launching her second interior design store called The Charcoal Project, on February 27. The 14,000 sq ft store is the couple's baby and Duggu been taking out time to be as involved as time permits.
Wide range
The store has a wide spectrum of products ranging from French antique furniture, home accessories, dinnerware, table linen, crockery, soft furnishings, installations, artifacts, and limited edition photo-art and accent pieces.
Special lines by designers like Abu Sandeep and Andrew Martin will be also available exclusively at the store. Susanne too will offer an exclusive line of fine furniture designed by her. It will also have statement pieces curated by the star wife.
It is learnt that products have been designed, manufactured or sourced from various parts of the world by Sussanne.u00a0
Some pieces are already been sold even before the opening. The huge store has two levels - a ground and a lower ground.
"The Charcoal Project is a one of its kind achievement and Sussanne hopes to bring the best in design and interiors across the country."
Mrs Roshan says, "I found inspiration in the woods for The Charcoal Project.
When I visualize an empty space in its most grey state it appears lifeless, Charcoal that is almost black only radiates red when a spark is put to it, the process by which each project is given life is called The Charcoal Project.
My store aspires to influence all the victims of a curious mind, to stretch the concept of design to another level.
