Take a bow

It is not everyday that a Mumbai girl gets to debut alongside Julia Roberts in a Hollywood production. No wonder then that Russhita Singh is super-excited. The actress talks about Ryan Murphy's Eat, Pray, Love, and her experience of sharing screen space with the Pretty Woman:

Fresh face
I must have auditioned at least five times over two-and-a-half months to bag the role of Tulsi. I was over the moon.

Tulsi is a simple, religious girl who isn't ready to get into the rigmarole of married life. Though I'm not much like her, I too am scared of the idea of marriage right now.

It was a wonderful experience to work with Julia. She's such a pleasure to look at and work with. She's not only a professional and sensible actor but also caring and thoughtful; she has all the qualities of a mother and a good actor.

She's very spontaneous and creative and is up front in voicing her opinion, though she's polite. She'd visited India last year and so knew quite a lot about our culture. But one thing that piqued her curiosity was Ganesha.

She also loves to eat chicken curry dishes, though she finds them fattening!
