Are you an election information junkie? A gaming site is now allowing you to make and play quizzes about candidates in the forthcoming Lok Sabha polls.

The site Contests2win.com that began its India Votes campaign 10 days ago is currently hosting over 200 quizzes on candidates and political parties, that its creators hope to bring about awareness among young voters.

"About 50 Lok Sabha seats are urban, that is nearly 10 per centu00a0 of the total 550 plus seats up for grabs that can be better reached by the internet as compared to traditional media. The idea was to create a fun though informative way to disseminate all the information that's out there. The campaign's received great feedback so far," said website COO Raj Menon.

Varun Gandhi is currently the darling among makers and players.

"He beats even Rahul Gandhi and L K Advani who are close runner ups. We're also having a lot of attention for Mohammed Azharuddin," said Menon.

The site is offering cash prizes and free talktime to the creators of the most popular and most creative site and to visitors for the most playtime. The team is also carefully monitoring content that goes up to avoid the quizzes from becoming mud slinging affairs between parties.

"It's supposed to be fun so you can say that Lalu Prasad Yadav is a joker but profanity is strictly not allowed."
