Actresses shy away from an extremely brazen scene in Leena Yadav's latest film

'Teen Patti' filmmaker can't find actresses for her next film

After directing the Amitabh Bachchan and Ben Kingsley starrer Teen Patti in 2010, Leena Yadav is gearing up for her next project: a woman-centric film. But the film has run into rough weather with many actresses – including the likes of Tabu and Raveena Tandon, if sources are to be believed - choosing to stay away.

Centred around the lives of four women characters, Leena’s film is said to have a semi-nude scene in the film. This intimate scene seems to have created problems for its casting. “Leena has been approaching a lot of actresses but none of them is keen on doing the nude scene.

They have communicated the same to her, but Leena doesn’t want to remove that scene as she feels that it is essential to the storyline,” says a source close to the filmmaker, adding that Leena has won the backing of actor Ajay Devgn, who is co-producing the film.

With the film scheduled to go on the floors on January 20 and a schedule spanning less than three months (she has to wrap it up by March), Leena has a tough task ahead. However, when contacted, Leena refused to divulge any details about the project.

“It’s true that I am directing a film but other than that, I cannot share any details with you right now. I need to make an announcement post which I will be able to share more information,” is all she’s willing to say.
