She was suspected to have been raped by the accused before being killed.
The girl, a student of Class 10, was found hanging from a tree Sunday evening in a farm in Dasarlapally village in Ranga Reddy district.
According to police, the girl, a student of a school at Kandukur, came to the village on a holiday and went to the field for some work. A few hours later, her body was found hanging from a mango tree.
Police arrested U Naresh, who allegedly attempted to rape the girl. When she resisted, he brutally assaulted her and hanged her from the tree.u00a0
