Several small screen folk have been practising for a celebrity cricket tourney to be held at Madh Island.

Telly actor Ssharad Malhotraa ('Banoo Main Teri Dulhan') has been spending time brushing up his bowling skills as he is part of a team owned by creative director Nivedita Basu. The team consists of actors Salil Acharya, Anita Hassanandani and Aditi Gupta.

Ssharad says, “My opinion that girls can’t play cricket has changed totally after seeing the female actors practicing. I have played cricket in school and college in Kolkata.”
Former Bigg Boss inmate telly actress Kamya Punjabi also owns a team and has Devon Mein Dev Mahadev show producers Suhana and Nikhil Sinha as part of her squad.
