The incident came to light Wednesday when girl's family approached east Delhi's Mayur Vihar police alleging that one of her friend's elder brother Vivek, 22, raped her Aug 14 while his friend Raja, 23, allegedly made an MMS clip of the crime.

"She was also threatened by the accused with circulation of the MMS if she tried to relate about the incident to anyone. Around 15 days ago, the accused circulated the MMS in the locality and on Wednesday, the victim's family members came to know about it," said a police officer.

"The victim then described the whole incident to her family members, who approached police," said the officer.

A case regarding the incident has been registered and a hunt is on to nab the culprits who are now untraceable and on the run, the officer said.

"The girl said that Vivek, who is a cab driver, persuaded her to sit in his cab when she was returning to her residence from school. On the way, Vivek offered her a soft drink laced with sedatives. He took her to a room in east Delhi's Trilokpuri and raped her," said the officer.

"Vivek's friend Raja and a woman were already present in the room where she was raped. Raja captured the rape on a mobile and they threatened to circulate it on internet," said the officer.
