"Manickam Tagore, another MP, tweeted, "For a better future, students of DU shall support NSUI panel for DUSU. Ajay Chikara for President, Bhupendra for VP, Parag for Secretary, Ashish for Joint Secretary, vote and support."

At the same time, Mohammad Azharuddin, former Indian cricket captain, tweeted, "Met NSUI candidates for DUSU. Charming and promising. Wish them success and appeal all DU students to exercise their franchise and elect them."
