Launched just a year ago, the Ziro Music Festival, organised in the Ziro Valley in Arunachal Pradesh, has gained a lot of popularity among music fans across the country, especially with itssecond edition, which concluded last Sunday.
But for those among you who couldn’t make it to the three-day outdoor music festival, you can still catch two of its main artistes, Lee M Ranaldo and Steven Jay Shelley of Alternative Rock band Sonic Youth, who will perform together in the city this weekend. On Tour series. The founder of Sonic Youth, American singer, song-writer, guitarist and visual artist, Ranaldo was ranked at no 33 in Rolling Stone’s Greatest Guitarists of All Time list in 2004. Shelley is best known as the drummer of Sonic Youth. Both will perform in the city for the first time.
