Hordes of people have been laughing at their impromptu gags on television for years together.

Indians can now get a slice of this, as comedians Colin Mochrie and Brad Sherwood of Whose Line Is It Anyway? tour the country, for the first time ever.

MD: Welcome to India, Colin. How has it been so far?
Colin: I love it. India's a beautiful country. We drove through the traffic yesterday and it was so exciting. Almost like an amusement ride.

MD: Really? How so?
Colin: For one, the buses were awfully close! What I found striking was how everyone used horns as a sign of warning, unlike back home, where it's aggressive and angry. We went to the Victoria Memorial (Kolkata) and walked a bit on the road. I must say, we met some real interesting characters. There was a boy on a horse and a few students who were staring at us. I kept trying to figure out why, it's not that I'm extremely handsome or running around naked! I'd like to believe that they were staring at me, but I'm guessing they were looking at Brad's wife. She's extremely beautiful.

MD: What do you have in store for your Indian fans?
Colin: Well, I have no idea what to expect. That's the beauty of improvisation. We will be basing a lot of our games on suggestions from the audience. We've made up a few games, and adapted some Whose Line ufffd games for the two of us. Plus we have new games, which were too long to play on the show. We will also have audience members on stage, performing with us.

MD: Have you recieved any Bollywood offers yet?
Colin: I've never watched a full movie, only scenes, but am hoping someone would see me at one of our shows and give me an offer to star in a film. I'm a very good dancer, but don't ask me to sing!

MD: Tell us, Colin, why is it you're always stuck with the damsel-in-distress roles in Whose Line...?
Colin: That's because I love women. I love capturing their essence and try to understand them.u00a0

MD: How is it being a comedian?
Colin: I live my life like my job just step into things. It's amazing that my career takes me to great places like India. I'm doing a job that I love. It's pretty strange; I've actively made a career of making fun of things!

MD: Lastly Colin, whose line is it, anyway?
Colin: I'd have to say it's my line, with maybe 20% that belongs to the others.

At: Tomorrow, 7.30 pm onwards, ITC Grand Central, Parel.
Entry by invitation only.
