Suffice to say that CCTV cameras are dangerous gadgets to have around when people as important as Mumbai's Queen Bee or reigning party girl are giving you a lesson on the birds and the bees.
A lensman’s tribute
îThe outpour of grief over the late Prabhuda Das Gupta who died tragically of a heart attack over the weekend while he was en route to Bangalore from Alibag has been spilling onto social networking sites and jamming the telephone lines.

From the sadness and disbelief it is apparent that Gupta was a much-loved man and a mentor to a whole generation of photographers and fashionistas.
Legendary photographer Pablo Bartholomew a close friend of the late lensman was overcome with grief while he made his way to attend the funereal held yesterday in Alibag. “MY DEAR DEAR FRIEND PRABUDDHA DAS GUPTA DIED OF A HEART ATTACK IN ALIBAG A FEW HOURS AGO...” he posted, along with this poignant portrait of Dasgupta, his partner Lakshmi and his daughter taken on a beach perhaps very much like the one he must have visited over the weekend before tragedy struck and robbed the world of photography of one of its most brilliant talents.
