The singer, actor and comedian, who’s also India’s first YouTube superstar, will be at IBar, Bandra on Thursday to perform songs from his upcoming film Simple Superstar.
Known worldwide as the “How To” man because of his “educational” videos where he gives many useful and deep insights into things like how to tie a lungi (at Times Square) or on using an eastern toilet, and on cultures from around the world, is all set to release the trailer and music of the film officially on Thursday.
The film, a semi-biographical story of Wilbur in the from of a musical, presents a comical, philosophical look at the man who has encouraged people to climb down the ladder and celebrate the common among them. The story is written by Wilbur and is made by a team of fans, who were selected by Wilbur online through Twitter and Facebook. The film will release in cities all over the world in 2013 through the film festival circuit.
