Meanwhile, the guys who were to feature with her in her debut film that never took off, now have their projects lined up for release. Narmada was slated to debut with Olympic boxer Vijender Singh in Lovely Singh’s Manchali. Vijender will now be seen in the upcoming film, Fugly.

Manchali was later rechristened as Tutak Tutak Tutiya and Vijender was replaced by Akhil Kapoor (Vinod Khanna’s nephew). When the film showed no signs of going on the floor, Akhil moved on and will now be seen in Desi Kattey. Five years on, the last we heard was that Chi Chi was planning to launch his daughter in his home production. That too was ages ago.
