The Hoodwink Circle (THC), an eclectic mix of performers from all over Mumbai, is all set to perform in the city. The line-up for THC includes Aidan Lewis (vocals and rhythm guitar), Sanjeev Aguiar (lead guitar and backing vocals), Ishaan Krishna (bass and backing vocals) and Rahul Hariharan (drums and percussion).u00a0The band came into being when Aguiar met Krishna through the Nandoo Bhende Band; the duo gathered the rest of the members.

The Hoodwink Circle’s primary musical influence is American Rock band Red Hot Chili Peppers (RHCP). Apart from RHCP, the band is also influenced by Jazz Funk, Pop/Alternative Rock, and Progressive Rock/Metal music. The band believes in making music that is technically sound as well as appeals to most listeners. The band is known for its music that is universal and at the same time, stems from day-to-day living in urban India.

Band manager Roydon Bangera says that performing in Pune is a good experience and the crowds are quite welcoming. Vocalist Lewis, the ex-vocalist of The Echoes, says that the Pune crowds are responsive and love original music. “The attitude towards music has changed in the city. They love original music and demand to hear it,” he adds.
