This coffee came from poop

Phorum Dalal visits a coffee plantation in Ubud, Bali, and finds how the Luwak coffee is made, thanks to the Asian palm civet that feeds on coffee berries, and then flushes out the beans

Asian palm civetWhen an Asian palm civet is given coffee beans, it picks only the best coffee berries, which contain better beans. The civet eats the berries for the beans’ fleshy pulp, and the bean passes through the digestive tract. Along with other fecal matter, the beans are then discarded from the body. Pics/Phorum Dalal
