Astrologers all over the city are positive that the crucial match on Saturday will be in India's favour. They cite favourable astrological aspects and planetary combination as a basis of their prediction.

"India shall win the final by 15 to 20 runs and two wickets for sure. They'll win the toss, complete some 300 runs and then bowl out Sri Lanka in 48-49 over," said Shrikrishna Jakatdar, veteran astrologer and President, Brihan Maharashtra Jyotish Mandal yesterday.
According to him, the star position of India and Captan Dhoni is similar on Saturday. Specially, a star like Mars, which represents hard-hitting action, is in favor of Dhoni. "All the astrological factors support the Indian team. I had also predicted the semifinals victory against Pakistan and I'm sure this time too, I'll be correct," he added.
Dr Madhusudan Ghanekar, Numerologist and Astrologer, is also of the opinion that India shall win the World Cup as the star position is similar to 1983 when India won first World Cup under the captainship of Kapil Dev. "In addition, the birth date of Dhoni is lucky for this match. Sachin will also make a century in the finals and will add another feather in his cap. It is a almost a full moon day and this will suit him to complete century," he added.
Malti Sharma, another astrologer, however, opined that Sachin would not complete 100 runs, but Yuvraj could reach up to 76 or even 80 runs. "This match will be crucial and dramatically change in favour of India in the last 10 overs," she said.
But Bangalore astrologists beg to differ
Astrologer and numerologist Dr S K Jain said that that the number 2 is not favourable for the Indian Team and the match is being played April 2. "Also, it will be amavasya and its effect may be seen on the team's performance. We shouldn't have selected this date. It will be a high tension match," he said. Likewise, noted numerologist Sanjay B Jumaani, said that one can't say if India will be able to win the match. "The lucky numbers for India were 3 and 9, and the team has done well in matches played on these dates." He added that India stands a 65 per cent chance of winning. Tarot card reader Tina Chowhan predicted that it would be a close match.
