Swargate police have arrested three persons in the Kunal Pol murder case. Pol was shot dead near Hotel Samrat on Nehru Road, Gultekadi on November 13.

Yesterday morning, cops apprehended Rohan Laxman Chavan (22), Ganesh Shankar Pawar (23), and Rizwan alias Babalu Nasir Saiyad (20) from Undri. All three are residents of PMC Colony at Ghorpade Peth.u00a0
Police had already arrested one accused, identified as Datta Arjun Chavan, on November 14, who was remanded in police custody.u00a0Cops said that those arrested are accomplices of Janglya alias Vishal Satpute, the mastermind behind Kunal Pol’s murder.
“All the four accused were produced before a judicial magistrate (first class), and remanded in police custody till November 25,” said inspector Deepak Nikam of Swargate police station.
He added that Chavan was also produced in court, and cops demanded extension of his custody by seven days for further investigation.u00a0Nikam said that Chavan’s role in this murder is not clear so far.u00a0
