Confirming the incident, producer Arbaaz Khan said, “An accident did take place while we were shooting for the film. It was an action scene where two cars were supposed to collide. However, while taking the shot, a short circuit resulted in a real accident, injuring three of our crewmembers.”

Salman rushes to set
Although the film’s Chulbul Pandey aka Salman Khan was not present on the sets, he rushed there within five minutes and took it upon himself to ensure the injured got the best treatment possible. He took them to Lilavati Hospital in Bandra (w), but on reaching the hospital, he saw a large crowd gathered outside, as veteran actor Rajesh Khanna had been admitted there. He then took a detour to Holy Family Hospital, but had to bring them back to Lilavati Hospital.
