At least three people were shot dead and five others injured, when a policeman on leave opened fire as property ownership dispute between two families took an ugly turn.

At least three people were shot dead and five others injured, when a policeman on leave opened fire as property ownership dispute between two families took an ugly turn.


The police constable Bindu Yadav who was on a leave, suddenly opened fire when the families were quarreling over the ownership of land.


Those injured in the incident have been admitted to the BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences for medical treatment. Meanwhile, the police have arrested five people including Yadav in this connection.
