Shocking! 3-year-old killed by mother, her boyfriend; woman arrested, lover absconding

A 3-year-old boy was killed by his mother and her boy friend recently in Ambernath after receiving a kick on his stomach. The Hill Line police station in Ambarnath has registered a murder case and has arrested the woman, while her lover is absconding after the incident.

According to the police, the deceased boy identified as Aniket Shinde 3 used to stay with her mother Bharati Baburao Shinde, 35 at Bhalgaon in Ambarnath, Thane. Bharati’s husband was died a few months ago due to some disease, while her elder son was staying in their native village. After her husband's death Bharati entered into a relationship with Vishal Kumar a local, who used to frequently visit there residence.

During the investigation police found that Bharati was frustrated as she was not unable to spend with Vishal as Aniket would interrupt them. Neighbours informed the police that Bharati use to assault her son.

On Tuesday Vishal came to meet Bharati in the afternoon and after 10 minutes Aniket woke up and Bharati got angry. She went inside in the kitchen to cook food, while Vishal played with the child. The child started crying and complaining to Vishal that his mother was beating him up. Angered by this Bhararti asked Vishal to hold his legs and hands and proceeded to kick Aniket's chest so hard that he couldn’t breathe properly. The infant was then shifted to Rukmani Bai hospital in Kalyan.

MG. Waghmare, Senior Police Inspector, Hill Line police station, said, “The hospital didn't admit the child as he was seriously injured and informed us. We reached the spot and after finding the exact reason arrested the murderer, while Vishal is absconding and the search to trace him is on. The post mortem reports allegedly state that Bharati kicked her son in the chest and abdomen leading to which his ribs were fractured and he was no more.”
