Meerut: A 2-year-old boy was killed when he drowned in a water-filled tub while playing near bathroom at New Govindpuri area in Meerut, police said on Tuesday.
According to the toddler's family, Daksh was playing near the tub filled with water when his toy fell into it, they said.

He fell into the tub and drowned while allegedly trying to retrieve it, police said, adding his parents were not at home at the time of the incident.
When Daksh's mother returned home she found him in the tub following which he was rushed to the hospital where he was declared dead, they said
