Tom hardy made the dream come true of a cancer patient by spending a fun-filled day with her, on Monday.
Kayleigh Duff, 23, who opened up about her rare liver cancer on British talk show “The Morning” earlier this year, told The Canterbury Times that a date with the 35-year-old ‘Dark Knight Rises’ star was in her wish list, the New York Daily News reported.

Hardy’s fiancee’s sister, Charlotte Riley, was watching the program and helped to arrange a meeting, while Duff’s pal, Katie Birch, helped set up the secret date.
The duo had tea and scones together and the actor even bought a diamond necklace for Duff. u00a0Duff said that she was shaking and nearly died when she saw the actor.
“I just thought we were having a day out in London,” she said. Duff, who has a 2-year-old son named Kai, was on a break for the chemotherapy treatments she is undergoing for tumors in her liver. u00a0
