Actor Randeep Hooda likes to take on roles that challenges his sensibilities as an actor.
He tells CS, “When I first came to Bollywood, I wondered what kind of films I would fit into. There were some roles even then but they went to more commercially successful actors.
I used to see films and feel that I would have done a much better job. The current phase is fantastic. You have a plethora of scripts to choose from. I am fine working with a debutant director.
Life is nothing without risks. I took a risk playing a closeted gay in Bombay Talkies and it was fine. Also, I don’t like to be the good guy on screen. It’s so boring.”
