"The film's subject holds appeal for audiences in both countries," he says. It may also be noted here that the film stars Pakistani actor Ali Zafar, ho has a big fan following in his home country.
Mahesh Ramnathan of Reliance Entertainment, which is distributing the film, says that they are still working on the availability of the actors' dates.
"They seem to be busy but we are trying to work out the dates as we are keen to host the film's premiere in Pakistan. We will be able to finalise things only by next week," he says.
Directed by E Niwas, the film has been written by Neeraj Pandey and it also stars Anupam Kher and Kirron Kher.
