Netherlands midfielder Rafael van der Vaart struck either side of half-time for the Premier League outfit at cool, clear Ellis Park and England striker Jermain Defoe completed the scoring.
Spurs eye tie-up with India
India will be part of Tottenham's international development project for Asia and it hopes to sew up the deal in the next six months.
Tottenham Hotspur's Head of Football Development Mark Jones said: "The club has done some research on India. We are looking for some regional partners who can help us understand the culture of the country," said Jones.
