Amazing Grace for Sunday's feature
Pune: Jockey Trevor Patel, who has been in incredible form of late, rode five winners from six mounts on the Saturday card here at Pune. Already leading in jockeys tally with 9 wins when he began the day, the ace horseman stormed home in the very first race with the Pesi Shroff-trained Stateira, and immediately followed it up astride Senorita Evita with a thrilling, last-stride victory for the same trainer.
His next two mounts Harvey and Itscaro, both trained by SK Sunderji, were rather easy winners, the first-named winning uncontested as favourite Kyoto (A Sandesh up) had a fall during the race along with Sylvano (K Kadam up) on turning for home.

Trevor's final and fifth winner came astride the heavily backed Dhanyavaad trained by Narendra Lagad.
Coming back to Sunday races, the grade 3, Even Champion Trophy is slated as the feature event of Sunday's eight-race card. Despite having to carry the top weight of 59 kg, the Pesi Shroff-trained Vijay Mallya mare Amazing Grace, to be ridden by the in-form Trevor Patel, should be able to post victory, and in fact, attracts as the best betting proposition of the afternoon.
