Tulsi moved! Internet 'cheers' 'aunty-climax' of Smriti Irani's 'demotion'
#ByeByeSmriti trends on social networking platform after troll take over to celebrate the shifting of Union Mininster Smriti Irani from HRD ministry to Textiles in Narendra Modi's cabinet reshuffle
'Tu Tulsi textile ministry ke angaan ki, now' seemed to be the refrain on Twitter after Union Minister Smriti Irani was shuted out of the Human Resource Development ministry and shifted to Textile Industry.
Irani being relieved of charge as Education Minister by Prakash Javadekar was the big news of the day.
Smriti Irani, who was known for her controversial statements as HRD minister, had faced a lot of brickbats from her detractors on Twitter over the last two years on various issues.
And the Twitter brigade couldn’t resist some parting shots at her on Wednesday.
Twitterati celebrated Irani's fall of grace and made the #ByeByeSmritiIrani and #ByeByeSmriti top trending hashtags on Twitter.
HERE ARE SOME OF THEM:
Sad part about removing Smriti Irani is that no one trolls the textile minister. Going to miss her Twitter repartee.— Pierre Fitter (@pierrefitter) July 5, 2016
Modi, you genius!
Smriti Irani moved from HRD to textile, Modi Govt is behaving like TCS, Infosys. Moving someone having experience in C to Java.— EngiNerd. (@mainbhiengineer) July 5, 2016
