TV show host says Kambli cried during episode

A Day after India cricketer Vinod Kambli denied having said anything against his childhood friend Sachin Tendulkar on a soon-to-be-aired TV reality show, the show's host Rajeev Khandelwal admitted that the episode did have a question on Tendulkar.

A Day after India cricketer Vinod Kambli denied having said anything against his childhood friend Sachin Tendulkar on a soon-to-be-aired TV reality show, the show's host Rajeev Khandelwal admitted that the episode did have a question on Tendulkar.


Though hesitant to answer anything on the Kambli-Sachin issue, Khandelwal admitted that the left-hander also cried during the show on which contestants are expected to speak the truth with their answers being compared tou00a0 results of polygraph tests conducted previously.





The host of Star Plus' Sach ka Saamna further said that though many contestants will be seen crying on the show, their tears are in fact tears of joy that come out as they reveal whateveru00a0 they have kept to themselves for so many years.

Khandelwal refused to reveal more on the Kambli episode, requesting viewers to wait for it to be aired next week.

This is not the first time public will see Kambli crying on TV. The southpaw had wept after India lost to Sri Lanka in the 1996 Wills World Cup semi-final at the Eden Gardens while returning to the pavilion unbeaten on 10.

The match was awarded to Sri Lanka due to unruly crowd behaviour, with India 120 for eight after 34.1 overs, chasing 251.
