The popular historical drama 'Bharat Ka Veer Putra Maharana Pratap', based on the life of Maharana Pratap, a sixteenth century Hindu Rajput ruler of Mewar, completed two years on Thursday.
The show, which stars actor Ssharad Malhotra in the title role, has garnered appreciation for its riveting concept and storyline.
"We are fortunate to have dedicated past two years to tell the story of great Maharana Pratap our beloved freedom fighter who dedicated his life for the freedom of our country," Abhimanyu Singh, CEO, Contiloe, said in a statement.
"This journey would have been impossible without the hard work of our creative and production team. We would really like to thank the viewers for giving us continued support and it would be our endeavour to continue to entertain them with this great historical tale," he added.
"Bharat Ka Veer Putra Maharana Pratap", which airs on Sony Entertainment Television, also stars Rachana Parulkar, Rajshree Thakur, Aashka Goradia and Shakti Anand among others.
