This is the second alleged paper leak in the week. The University of Mumbai is already probing the alleged paper leak of the third-year commerce paper of Marketing and Human Resource Management.
Parents of the students claimed that their children received the questions of the paper via SMSes.
When MiD DAY spoke to an official of the University he confirmed that the superintendent of the examination hall had called up the University office bearers to inform them that the question paper had been leaked.
When asked whether the paper would be postponed or cancelled the official stated that it would be impossible to cancel the examination at this point.
He added that a high-level probe will be conducted on the incident and the University will only be able to disclose everything after complete investigations.
However, Dr SM Suryavanshi, Controller of Examination, University of Mumbai, denied any paper leakage. He stated that the exams went on smoothly at all the centres and he did not receive any complaints from the centre-heads. He rubbished the claims as rumours spread by people with vested interests.
