Smalley said that this isn’t America where everything is happy, clappy and corportate, as they are “notherners”, the Daily Star reported.

The cafe has received scathing reviews on the TripAdvisor website, where visitors have complained of hostile staff and an unwelcoming atmosphere.

One reviewer wrote that the place has great food and presentation, but the service is very poor – as if they didn’t exist.u00a0
