Michelle Mone and her husband are to separate, a statement released through a law firm has confirmed. According to the statement released by Harper Macleod, the split is "amicable" and no other parties are involved.
However, the Ultimo bra entrepreneur and her husband will continue to work at MJM International, the company they founded.
Mone, whose gel-filled bra became a sensation after it was worn by actress Julia Roberts in the hit film 'Erin Brockovich', ranks among the UK's most successful businesswomen.
"It is with regret that we intimate that Mr Michael J Mone and Mrs Michelle G Mone OBE have decided to separate. There are no other parties involved and the split is amicable," the Telegraph quoted a statement from the lawyers as saying.
"Michael and Michelle's focus will be the welfare of their children, which is their main priority."They will continue to work together in their business MJM International. This is a private matter and they would appreciate their privacy and that of their family being respected at this difficult time," it added.
