LeBron James finished with 16 points, nine rebounds and five assists for the Heat, which lost to Dallas in last year's NBA Finals.
Mario Chalmers and rookie Norris Cole each added 16 points for Miami, which matched Oklahoma City for the NBA's best record this season at 5-0, the best start to a season in Heat franchise history.
Miami surged ahead 33-15 after the first quarter, matched the third-largest blowout victory in Heat history and inflicted the second-most lopsided defeat in Bobcats history.
