The Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) has decided to call for an urgent managing committee meeting today to clarify objections regarding the Mumbai T20 league. Former MCA president Ravi Savant shot a letter to the MCA president Ashish Shelar to call off the T20 league since the present committee is not authorised to take such decisions because their term expired in April this year. The organisers of the league Probability Sports want clarity on the legal part from the MCA.

It is learnt that the MCA will seek legal opinion on this and the managing committee will take a call accordingly. However, MCA officials are confident that this committee is fully authorised to take the decision to host the league. For quite a while now Mumbai has been trying to organise its T20 League which is conducted by other cricket power houses like Karnataka State Cricket Association and Tamil Nadu Cricket Association.
