Carolyn Meiselbach, a 79-year-old great-grandmother from Brooklyn, disobeyed her doctors' orders to skydive 13,500 feet out of an airplane in New York
Meiselbach ignored the advice of three physicians who were worried over her long list of ailments to get the thrill of a lifetime, the New York Post reported.
The great grandmother of one said that she had had six strokes, beaten cancer twice, and also suffers from osteoporosis, arthritis and diabetes.

The courageous women also said that she had served six years in the U.S. Navy, and raised two of her sons as a single mother.
Meiselbach, who jumped along with a 60-year-old instructor on April 24 at Skydive Ranch in Gardiner, NY, suffered only a chest bruise caused due to rubbing of the harness of the parachute against her pacemaker.
The thrill loving Meiselbach is also planning to go back and jump with 10 friends for her 80th birthday in October.
