Washington: President Barack Obama hit the golf course on Friday, taking advantage of a calm day and a burst of spring in the US capital for some downtime before his historic trip to Cuba.
Amid mild temperatures and sunny skies, Obama left the White House in the mid-afternoon to play at Andrews Air Force Base in the nearby state of Maryland.
Obama is an avid golfer and often plays on weekends and while on vacation in Hawaii or on Martha’s Vineyard, a swanky island off the northeast US coast.
