Sources say, videos of Iraq and Afghan wars were shown to alleged bombers captured by Delhi police to instil hatred for India in them
Apprehended Indian Mujahiddin (IM) operatives by Delhi police have disclosed that they were shown videos of "Baghdad (Iraq war) and Afghanistan war" to instigate hatred in them against India. Even though India had little to do with both the wars, the perpetrators filled these men with propagandas against India on the pretext that India has connived with the United States to unsettle the Islamic regions.
"Most of them don't have any idea and they are imbibed with belief that India is responsible for atrocities on their brothers and sisters, which of course is not true," sources said. Video recordings have been recovered from their possession. Some incriminating documents have also been found from their possession.
Mohammed Adil, Mohammed Qateel Siddiqi, Mohammed Irshad Khan, Gauhar Aziz Khomani, Gayur Ahmad Jamali and Abdur Rahman were caught by Delhi police's special cell. They are being interrogated by the Delhi police's special cell at their Lodhi Colony police station. Mohammed Adil is a Pakistani national.
Delhi police has claimed to have found a breakthrough in the Jama Masjid bomb case, Pune German Bakery blast and Chinnaswami Stadium blasts. Police sources also said that they were shocked to see the weapon racket which was going on in Nangloi area, from where two of the accused were caught.
"It was like mini Munger in Bihar (a hub of weapon making). We couldn't believe that anything like that could happen in Delhi," sources said. On their interrogation, it was revealed that he is a member of the Indian Mujahiddin terrorist module, led by Ahmad Siddi Bappa, alias Shahrukh, alias Yashin Ahmad, alias Imran of Bhatkal, Karnataka, who is absconding. "We are in search for Shahrukh now, who is the kingpin," the sources added.
IM founder who was believed to be dead
Delhi police sources said that Riyaz Bhatkal, who is believed to be the founder of Indian Mujahideen was thought to have died in an encounter even by his family members in Bhatkal. It was, however, found later that he is very much alive.
