Catherine Becker, 48, is said to have made her husband dinner on Monday night and put an unknown poison or drug in the food to make him pass out, reports the Daily Mail.

When he woke up, he was tied to a bed and could not move while his wife took a knife to his genitalia before throwing the organ into the garbage disposal and turning it on, police said.
Authorities were called to the couple''s home in Garden Grove, just south of Los Angeles, after Becker called 911 reporting a medical emergency.
When officers arrived, they found her husband bleeding from his crotch.
The 52-year-old man was rushed to UCI Medical Center, where he is now in a serious condition following emergency surgery.
While searching the home, officers found a knife and a rope.
Lieutenant Jeff Nightengale said the couple were married but had begun divorce proceedings.
After officers arrived at the scene and saw the man suffering, Becker allegedly told them he ''deserved it''.
Becker is now being held at the Orange County jail, charged with aggravated mayhem, false imprisonment, assault with a deadly weapon, administering a drug with intent to commit a felony, poisoning and spousal abuse
