Bijnor: A mother and her 22-year-old daughter were today stabbed to death allegedly by their relative for resisting molestation, police said.
The accused identified as Amjad stabbed Ayesha (40) and her married daughter Pooja this afternoon near Malan river when the two were returning to Alipura village under Najeebabad tehsil, police said.

The accused is the nephew of Mustakeem, Ayesha's husband.
According to the police, Amjad had been molesting Pooja for a while for which Mustakeem has scolded him.
Police said the accused has been arrested.
