"We have got Vicky Kaushal and Harshvardhan Rane for the Hindi version of the film. Both Vicky and Harshvardhan suit the role, they are perfect choice for the film. I have seen their work and they are amazing actors," Bejoy told PTI.

Harshvardhan, who is known for his work in Telugu cinema, made his Bollywood debut with "Sanam Teri Kasam".

Vicky won accolades for his performance in "Masaan". "Agni Nachathiram" was the story of two half-brothers and how their relationship transformed with time. It had Prabhu and Karthik in lead roles.

Bejoy worked as an assistant director for Mani Ratnam before he went on to make films in Hindi. The lead actress for the film's Hindi version is yet to be finalised.

According to the "Wazir" director, the Hindi version of "Agni Nachathiram" is likely to go on floors this year. "Besides working on the contemporary reboot of 'Agni Nachathiram', I am also working on another big film. But I can't talk about it," Bejoy said.
