That's how it was when Vidya Balan was invited on Siddharth Kannan's TV show. The actress immediately broke into Tamil as the two discussed their college days in St Xavier's.
Sid tells CS, "Vidya used to be a volunteer in the organising committee of Malhar (the college festival), while I was a compere. And we go back a long way.
When I started working for a TV network, it was Vidya's dad (an HR head then), who gave me my first hike.
