An advertisement from the 90s featuring former Miss World Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Bollywood actress Mahima Chaudry has gone viral
As Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is ringing in her 44th birthday, an old advertisement of her in a fairness cream ad also featuring Mahima Chaudhary has gone viral. This ad was done way back in the 90s during Aishwarya's initial modelling days. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan had also participated in the Miss India contest and was a hot favourite to win the pageant, but lost out to Sushmita Sen, who impressed the judges with her poise and intellect.

However, Aishwarya, later on, got meaty projects in Bollywood, even won a Filmfare award for her role in 'Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam'. Aishwarya has been the brand ambassador of a cosmetic giant for over a decade now and continues to represent it everytime they launch a new range of high-end beauty products.
She is a huge favourite at the Cannes Film Festival as well, as she walks the red carpet representing the cosmetic giant. Her favourite go-to red carpet designer is Elie Saab and her first western outfit at the Cannes was a gown by Elie Saab. She has walked the Cannes red-carpet wearing gowns designed by leading fashion designers such as Roberto Cavalli, Armani, Ralph and Russo, Rami Kadi, Michael Cinco, etc.
This year as a mark of respect to her late father, Aishwarya Rai will not be having a birthday bash, but will instead choose to spend time with her family. On the work front Aishwarya Rai Bachchan will be next seen in 'Fanney Khan' opposite Rajkummar Rao and her 'Taal' and 'Hum Aapke Dil Mein Rehte Hain' co-star, Anil Kapoor.
