What would you use if a dangerous crocodile came in front of you? Well, we suggest not being inspired by this woman in Australia, who used her flip-flop shoes as a formidable weapon to ward off the creature.

The brave woman has become an Internet sensation after she and her dog escaped a deadly attack from a crocodile with the help of only her 'chappal'.

The incident took place at Australia's Northern Territory's Kakadu National Park while the woman was out walking her dog last month at Cahill's Crossing, a popular feeding ground for crocs, but is going viral now after crocodile enthusiast Lyndon Anlezark -- who witnessed the event and filmed it on his phone -- shared the video on social media. She was walking her pet when the large saltwater crocodile appeared in front of them to the water's edge, according to the media reports.

What happened next is unbelievable. The woman, instead of being scared, started clapping her shoe against her hand and managed to scare the crocodile away.
