Virat Kohli's lookalike, who was all over the internet when a Facebook video of him in a renowned pizza outlet, did not know it would turn out to be such a big thing.
Kohli's doppleganger - name Sohail Siddiqui - was in the middle of preparing a pizza at Domino's outlet in Karachi, when a customer began shooting a video.
Once this video hit social media, it spread like fire. Sohail's bears a striking resemblance to Virat Kohli in the video, right from his face structure to the beard he was sporting.
The Kohli lookalike was attending a family function in Uttar Pradesh recently and spoke to Times of India, "Main accounts dekhta hoon, par uss din main pizza bana raha tha. Mujhe pata nahin kisne mera video banaya." (I usually look at accounts, but on that day I was making a pizza. I don't know who shot my video).
"I have been given the permission to talk and several news channels queued up outside our outlet after the video went viral. Sadly , I am not there now. I work so that I can sponsor my own education."
Sohail Siddiqui admits to be a big cricket fan and has been a huge follower of the Champions Trophy tournament right from the start.
"When I used to play cricket, my friends would call me Virat. I stopped playing after joining work. But even then, cricket is my favourite sport and I love both India and Pakistan," he said.
What is most astonishing is that his favourite Indian cricketer is not even Virat Kohli... its MS Dhoni.
