Virender Sehwag is the undisputed 'Nawab of Twitterverse' and he has hit both Arnab Goswami and Piers Morgan out of the park on Friday in one go.

Times Now’s star anchor Arnab Goswami is one of the biggest names when it comes to broadcast journalism in India, but that didn't stop the former India opener from snubbing him.

In process, he hit British TV anchor Piers Morgan out of the park as well.

Sehwag took to Twittter on Friday to share the news that he was approached to talk on 'Newshour' about the 'British guy' for his views on India. But the 37-year-old former cricketer refused to go on air since he didn't feel that Morgan deserved any airtime.

Here's how you shut down two people at one go. You refuse to speak about one, to the point of not even mention his name. And the other one you destroy by turning him down, despite his show being "one of the biggest shows" on TV channels.

For those who are new to the party and don't know what this is all about:

UK journalist Piers Morgan faced a lot of flak after taking to Twitter to mock the 'wild celebrations' in India for winning two medals at the 2016 Rio Olympics.

Morgan, known for his controversial Twitter posts, criticised India for winning two Rio Olympics medals. The TV host made fun of India and Indians for not producing gold medallists.

He termed India's Olympics medal tally an embarrassment and felt that the celebrations for just two medals that weren't gold was over the top. Morgan also tweeted that it was 'shameful' that 1.2 billions couldn't produce a gold medallist.

Sehwag shut him down with his wit. (READ HOW THE SAGA UNFOLDED AND SEHWAG'S HILARIOUS REPLY)

In a celebratory mood after England scored a world record ODI total of 444 against Pakistan recently, the TV anchor revived his taunt of India not having won a gold medal at the Olympic Games and Morgan tried to rekindle his war of words on Twitter with Sehwag. He even challenged Viru to a bet of 1 million pounds.

But wait! He got his facts right.

Sehwag was mum on the issue, even as Twitter went into overdrive. (READ: MORGAN GETS IT WRONG, BUT TWITTERATI ARE THERE TO TEACH HIM)
