Since his retirement from cricket, former India all-rounder Virender Sehwag has been 'killing it' with his wit on Twitter. The dashing opener, known for his debonair style of batting, has been hitting it out of the park regularly with his tweets. The 37-year-old has even earned himself the sobriquet 'Nawab of Twitter'.

Indian off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin is in exceptional form and has reclaimed the number one spot in Test rankings for bowlers following a career-best match haul of 13 for 140 in the third Test against New Zealand in Indore. Ashwin now has 220 wickets, the most by any bowler after 39 Tests.
But Tuesday saw the 'Nawab' being beaten by his 'Begum' and the offie being bowled by a googly by his better half.
Sehwag was at his witty best while congratulating Ashwin for being the'Man of the Series' in the just concluded three-match Test series against New zealand for his 27 wickets.
The Delhi dasher suggested that Ashwin had finished off proceedings early on the fourth day itself because he was i na rush to get home to his wife and child. He posted, "Congrats Ashwin for an incredible 7th Man of the series. Only a married man can understand d urgency of going home early. #FamilyTime."
Ashwin respond to the tweet with, "lol..viru pa".
However, this is where the fun started. Ashwin's wife Prithi responded to the duo's conversation by humbly stating that she didn't have much to do with the early finish by India and Ashwin’s success. She posted, "@ashwinravi99 @virendersehwag hahaha I didn't do much :)."

As if this response wasn't enough, there was more to come.
The best was yet to come. Sehwag's wife Aarti response to Prithi left the man known for his one-liners completely stumped and in the same position that he has left so many of his colleagues on Twitter.
Aarti Sehwag posted, "@prithinarayanan Neither did I. Both in a hurry as always@ashwinravi99 @virendersehwag."
Clearly, this is a round that belongs to the 'Begums'.
HERE'S HOW THE CONVERSATION UNFOLDED
First Viru paji congratulated Ashwin in his own indomitable style on Twitter.

To which Aarthi Sehwag had the best reply that completely shut their husbands up.
