The saying goes, "You just can't keep a good man down!". Well, 'Nawab of Twitter' Virender Sehwag may have been quiet for a few days, but now he's back and he's more hilarious than before.

India on Tuesday registered a brilliant win over Australia in Dharamsala to not only lift the Border-Gavsakar Trophy 2-1, but also end their long arduous home season on a positive note.

Viru decided to celebrate the end of the domestic season and Team India's victory by announcing a special 'Viru Gharelu Awards'.

The awards that he announced on Twitter basically had him picking new nicknames for key Indian and Australian players.

Only two Australian cricketers had the 'privilege' of being picked for the awards -- Steve Smith and Peter Handscomb. While tyhe 35-year-old former cricketer decided to pun on Handscomb's name, he dubbed Smith 'tubelight' (For his brain fade moments during the series?).

Among the Indians, skipper Virat Kohli was given the title 'holder' and Cheteshwar Pujara 'inverter'.

His innovative manner of summing up the India-Australia Test series got the Twitterati ROFL.

He had earlier celebrated chinaman bowler Kuldeep Yadav's sensational debut with a witty tweet that took a dig at Chinese products last week.

Here are the 10 winners of the Viru Gharelu Awards:

Cheteshwar Pujara – Inverter
Ravindra Jadeja – TulluPump
KL Rahul – Stabilizer
Wriddhiman Saha – Channi
Umesh Yadav – Sansi
Virat Kohli – Holder
Ravichandran Ashwin and Ajinkya Rahane – Desert Cooler
Kuldeep Yadav – Exhaust

Only two Aussies made the cut:

Steve Smith – Tubelight
Peter Handscomb -Joon Kangi

Here's his tweets:

But he wasn't done yet. He reminded all that the only blemish during the entire series took place at Pune. But, of course, in his typical style.

Here's how Twitterati reacted to the 'special' awards:
