Akshay Kumar was one of the 15 torch bearers of the Winter Olympics to be held at Vancouver next year and he was amongst the privileged few to be gifted a replica of the torch when he returned to Mumbai after running with it in Toronto.

The torch has found a special place in Akshay's Juhu home now but he has grander plans for it.
He will have an auction for the torch and the proceeds will be going to the Special Olympics of which he is the brand ambassador. It's as if one Olympics is connected to the other through the torch."
